Panda is seeking a skilled Fabricator-Welder for the nightshift in Barkston to repair, maintain and refurbish waste containers. You’ll perform welding, grinding, cutting and general fabrication, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced operation.
We require NVQLevel2/3 in Fabrication & Welding and MIG welding experience, with reading drawings and using fabrication tools. You’ll join a team committed to safe practices and continuous improvement.

At Panda, we’re looking for a skilled Fabricator-Welder to join our nightshift Fabrications team in Barkston.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll repair, maintain and refurbish waste containers to a high standard, making sure they are safe, functional, presentable and ready for customer use.
As a Fabricator-Welder at Panda, you’ll be part of a busy operational environment where quality workmanship, safe working practices and attention to detail really matter.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll carry out a range of welding, fabrication and repair work, supporting the smooth running of the fabrication yard and wider maintenance operation.
Health and Safety is central to how we work at Panda. You’ll be expected to follow company procedures, use the correct PPE and carry out hot works in line with HSE guidelines and company permit-to-work procedures.
We’re looking for someone with strong fabrication and welding experience, good practical judgement and a safety‑first approach.
