DPD UK is seeking a Class 1 Shunter to lead nocturnal yard operations, ensuring precise trailer movements and smooth flow in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will use internal systems to log transitions, conduct pre-use inspections, and support loading bays and driver communication.

The role requires a Class 1 LGV Licence (C+E) and Driver CPC, with strong spatial awareness, proactivity, and physical fitness.

Qualificações

• Class 1 LGV Licence (C+E) and Driver CPC are required.
• Ability to log trailer movements using internal systems with accuracy.
• Physically fit and comfortable maneuvering in tight spaces.”

Responsabilidades

• Precision maneuvering of trailers and tug units in the yard with high accuracy.
• Perform pre-use vehicle inspections and ensure yard protocols meet standards.
• Log all trailer transitions and coordinate with warehouse and drivers to keep schedules on track.
• Assist with inventory tasks or short-haul local runs when volume fluctuates.
