DPD Group UK is seeking a Class 1 Shunter for nocturnal yard operations. You will manage trailer and tug unit movements, logging transitions in our digital systems, and uphold Safety First principles in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 1 LGV licence (C+E) and a current Driver CPC, thrive under pressure, and can coordinate with warehouse teams to keep loading bays and departure schedules on track. This role offers stable nights with a strong pension and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Class 1 LGV Licence (C+E) and valid Driver CPC.
• Experienced in fast-paced yard environments with safety focus.
• Proactive, physically fit and ready to solve problems.
• Comfortable using digital logging; minimal paper use.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate trailers and tug units safely within the yard with high precision.
• Log trailer transitions in internal management systems and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to optimize loading bays and departure times.
• Support inventory tasks or short local runs during volume fluctuations.
