Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a nights-only role at one of our care homes. You will supervise a team of Care Assistants and support the Deputy General Manager while contributing to high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

You will work nights 8pm–8am, 4 nights per week, with alternate weekends, and have opportunities for ongoing training and career progression into roles such as Care Practitioner or nursing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Clinical care knowledge for the elderly required.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Uphold residents' dignity and preferences in a warm, welcoming, vibrant environment.
