Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant for a night shift role (8pm–8am) with rotational weekends. The post involves leading a team of Care Assistants and supporting the clinical team with medication, assessments and care plans, while ensuring residents receive dignified, personalised care.

You'll work 33 hours per week in a UK care home, with opportunities for training and progression within the organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.
• Patience, warmth and commitment to personalised resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Uphold residents' dignity and create a warm, welcoming, vibrant environment.
