Avery Healthcare's Spencer House Care Home in Northampton is seeking a Registered Nurse - Nights to act as person in charge and support the manager as required. You will ensure high standards of resident care and supervise the care team.

You will perform nursing tasks including medication administration, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic conditions. You will communicate changes to families and GPs and contribute to care planning within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate minimum 2 years of experience with up-to-date knowledge of care.
• Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.

Responsabilités

• Act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager as required.
• Distribute medications, perform dressings, catheterisation and tube feeding.
• Manage chronic medical conditions and advise families and GPs of changes.
• Supervise staff within the care team to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and care planning.
