Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Registered Nurse for night shifts at Poets Mews Care Home in Somerset. You will act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager and ensuring high standardsof care for residents.

To be considered, you should hold a First Level qualification and be registered with the NMC, with at least two years’ experience in care settings and post-basic studies to support ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and be currently registered with the NMC.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
• Have knowledge of care planning and its practical application.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager when required.
• Distribute medications, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management.
• Supervise and deploy care team members to ensure residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
