Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes operates Berkeley Lodge in Worthing and seeks a Care Assistant for night shifts. Roles available as Full Time or Part Time (36hrs or 24hrs weekly, including every other weekend). Competitive hourly pay with progression.

You will deliver high quality personal care, support independence, assist with meals, input resident interactions, and foster positive relationships with relatives. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in healthcare; training provided.
• Kind and caring with a positive approach.
• Energetic, hard-working and customer-focused.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary.
• Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system.
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences.
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.
