South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd in Worthing is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our 36-hour-per-week daytime team at Berkeley Lodge, our specialist dementia nursing home. You will deliver high-quality personal care, support residents, and promote independence in a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

Experience in the healthcare sector preferred but training will be provided.
Kind and caring with a positive approach.

Responsibilities

Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents.
Promoting independence and enablement and providing support to residents where necessary.
Ensuring electronic residents’ personalised interactions are inputted on the system.
Serving food and drinks to residents and promoting social dining experiences.
Developing relationships with relatives to understand their needs and support personal care.
