Job summary

Depaul UK is seeking a Night Homelessness Support Worker in Lambeth, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of £29,336 per annum. The role involves practical and emotional support, risk management, safeguarding, and helping residents progress in education, employment and independent living.

You will work with partner agencies to promote wellbeing, create a safe environment, and participate in training and team activities to deliver a high-quality service aligned with Depaul policies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a busy support or care environment
• Experience of safeguarding and person-centred support
• Ability to lone-work and be proactive
• Commitment to diversity, equality and health and safety

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety of environment through risk assessments and checks
• Safeguard and promote wellbeing of clients at all times
• Work with agencies to support client wellbeing and data sharing protocols
• Prepare accommodation for new clients and help them settle in
• Attend training and team meetings to support development
• Liaise with Depaul internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
