Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager for our new Daventry distribution centre. The role focuses on night shifts (10pm–6am), overseeing staffing, KPI achievement and safety. The salary is £38,000 per year with 30 days holiday and a 15% staff discount, plus a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of cost savings, productivity costs, quality control and error reduction.
• Excellent team building, leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to communicate in an open and honest manner with the team, transport & the customer.
• Be able to work various shift patterns to meet customer demand.
• Experience of HR activities: performance reviews, appraisal, disciplinary, grievance; health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet daily warehouse requirements.
• Ensure procedures are followed and SOPs are understood by the team.
• Deliver regular performance reviews and development planning.
• Monitor operations and address issues; escalate to Site Manager when needed.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
