Job summary

Farmfoods Daventry distribution centre is seeking a Site Manager to lead a 24/7 operation that handles ambient, chilled and frozen goods. You will oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of orders to our shops, directly managing people, processes and systems to hit targets.

The role requires strong communication, planning and people management, with experience in warehouse operations. The salary is £50,000 plus benefits including 30 days leave, staff discount and pension.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication across all levels.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
• Able to drive plans and overcome obstacles.
• Warehouse management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure stock control systems are up-to-date.
• Recruit and train staff; monitor performance and progress.
• Motivate and organize teamwork to meet productivity targets.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and security.
• Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Manage 24/7 multi-shift teams and staffing levels.
• Control warehouse costs and maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle absence and personnel matters; include facilities management.
