Job summary

Gist Limited is seeking a Night Warehouse Section Leader in Ward Park, Cumbernauld, to support night operations under the Night Warehouse Shift Manager. The role focuses on coordinating activity, planning resources, and maintaining KPI-driven performance across the shift.

You will work within a busy FMCG logistics environment, ensuring safety, accuracy and timely product movement, while supporting attendance and employee relations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or fast-paced operation.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a busy environment.
• Strong skills in reporting and using MS Office to support decisions.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (SAP or similar).
• Good communication and people skills.
• Willingness to support employee relations activities when required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily resource planning to ensure correct staffing.
• Coordinate warehouse activity to move products safely and on time.
• Monitor KPIs and assist in improvement actions.
• Produce and maintain operational reports.
• Assist with sickness/leave and availability management.
• Support induction and training of new starters and ensure training needs are met.
• Provide clear direction to colleagues and maintain effective handovers.
