Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bristol is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager (Nights) to lead a brand-new team at our state-of-the-art site. You will oversee operations across chilled and ambient areas, ensuring safety, training and high performance in a fast-paced environment.

The permanent night-shift role offers a base salary around £38,000 plus a night shift premium, with excellent facilities and a supportive culture focused on leadership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong people management and coaching skills.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and standard MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operation and achieve productivity/quality targets.
• Manage teams in chilled and ambient environments with safe practices.
• Drive engagement, wellbeing and performance through coaching and meetings.
• Ensure training and support for roles to perform safely and effectively.
• Monitor performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance across activities.
• Support inventory accuracy and stock management per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and use WMS to deliver excellence.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture where all colleagues thrive.
