Job summary

Workchain in Northampton is seeking a reliable Warehouse Administrator for a night-shift role. This temp-to-perm opportunity combines administrative duties with warehouse support, ensuring stock movements and records are accurate while helping the night team operate smoothly.

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good computer skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Night shifts from Sunday to Thursday are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse administration or general administration is desirable but not essential.
• Strong computer skills and confidence with warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when entering information.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete general warehouse administration and clerical duties.
• Update warehouse management systems and maintain accurate records.
• Process delivery notes, dispatch paperwork and other warehouse documentation.
• Record incoming and outgoing stock movements.
• Check information for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Support the warehouse team with administrative tasks related to deliveries and stock movements.
• Communicate with warehouse colleagues, drivers and office teams to share information.
• Monitor paperwork and ensure documents are filed correctly.
• Respond to queries and escalate issues when needed.
• Maintain organised records and follow company procedures.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately within required timescales.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
