Job summary

Lanes Group plc, a leading nationwide utility services provider, invites applicants for a Vacuum Tanker Operative based in Leeds. You will independently operate a vacuum tanker to collect and dispose of non-hazardous liquid waste, support drainage projects and ensure accurate record-keeping in a 4 on/4 off night shift pattern with a £17.50 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive and operate a vacuum tanker to collect, transport and dispose of non-hazardous liquid waste across Leeds and Yorkshire.
• Support drainage and remediation projects as required.
• Move treated and untreated waste products and assist with remedial works.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Report safety concerns and conduct vehicle and jetting equipment checks.
