Job summary

Lanes Group is looking for a hands-on operative to support the Tankering North division from Grindley. You will work in a small team to maintain and clear wastewater systems, recording job details on a company tablet and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Role is permanent, 47.5 hours per week with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern. The position pays £13.50 per hour and requires a valid driving license and comfort with PDA/tablet devices.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving license required.
• Competent with electronic PDA/tablet devices.
• CPC is desirable.

Responsibilities

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units.
• Carry out remote CCTV investigations where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and equipment checks.
