Job summary

Lanes Group plc in Leeds is seeking a vacuum tanker operator to join the Yorkshire Water Tankering division. You will independently drive a vacuum tanker, collect and dispose of non-hazardous liquid waste across Leeds and Yorkshire, and maintain accurate records.

Full training provided; 4 on 4 off days; £16.50 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half. Desirable CPC and tanker experience.

Qualifications

• HGV class 2 driving licence required with up to 6 penalty points.
• Desirable: CPC valid in-date, experience with tankers.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive and operate a vacuum tanker to collect and transport non-hazardous liquid waste across Leeds and Yorkshire.
• Support drainage and remediation projects and move treated/untreated waste.
• Update electronic records and liaise with customers; perform safety and equipment checks.
