Job summary

Quest Waste Management in Leeds Wakefield is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers to join the team on a 4 on 4 off rota, covering days and nights, including weekends and public holidays.

You will transport liquid and controlled waste, complete pre- and post-shift inspections, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across a growing operation. Training is provided for the right candidate, with opportunities for long‑term progression.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• Tankers experience preferred (training provided for right candidate).
• Willingness to work weekends, bank holidays and out‑of‑hours shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of specialist vacuum tankers (training provided).
• Respond to emergency call-outs including sewer blockages, flooding and pollution incidents.
• Collect and dispose of liquid and controlled waste in line with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
