Qualifications
- First-level nursing registration with NMC PIN.
- Post-registration management or supervisory experience and/or training.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead nursing and care teams on a shift.
Responsibilities
- Lead your unit’s nursing and care teams to meet medical, physical and emotional needs.
- Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards of care.
- Oversee all clinical elements and risks on your unit.
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are current and appropriate.
- Act as Named Nurse for residents and oversee care profiles.
- Supervise medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal.
