Job summary

Culina is seeking a Despatch Clerk to support our Transport Logistics team in Sittingbourne. You will despatch drivers, manage paperwork, input trailer data, and monitor KPI accuracy to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills and effective communication to work with drivers and depot teams during nights. Salary is £26,000 with a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous transport/logistics or administrative experience is advantageous.
• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Professional communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Despatching drivers with all relevant paperwork.
• Completing customer and KPI documentation as required.
• Inputting correct trailer numbers into the internal tracking system.
• Ensuring correct week numbers on trailers for depot trailers.
• Liaising with drivers on gate procedures before site entry.
