Job summary

Compass Community Limited is recruiting for a Night Time Residential Worker to support four boys under 11 in a four-bedded Learning Disabilities home. You’ll provide a calm night-time presence, read stories, offer reassurance and help start the day positively.

The role follows a 4 on/4 off shift with hours 21:30–07:30. We welcome experienced residential and youth workers or those with personal experience supporting children, with training and ongoing development provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential or youth work preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training and reflective practice.
• Must be 22+ and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of children and young people.
• Support with night-time routines, safety, reassurance and comforting touchpoints.
• Contribute to therapeutic practice and reflective training to improve care.
• Build positive relationships with children while safeguarding them.
