Job summary

Compass Community is recruiting for a Night Time Residential Worker in a 4-bed Learning Disabilities Children’s Home. You will support four boys under 11, with duties from bedtime stories to overnight reassurance, and help start mornings positively.

Shift pattern is 4 on/4 off, 21:30–07:30. They welcome applicants with residential or youth-work experience, or personal experience supporting children with additional needs seeking a rewarding career in care.

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years old or above to apply.
• Valid driving licence is required.
• Experience in residential or youth work is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the care of children and young people, building trust and safety.
• Engage in therapeutic practice and participate in reflective training to improve care.
• Create positive relationships, meet needs and safeguard the children.
• Support with morning routines and helping children start their day confidently.
