Job summary

MERKUR Slots in Carshalton is hiring a Team Member Nights to deliver a warm welcome and create a great gaming experience. You will work on a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays, with a 40-hour week and a pay rate of £13.25–£14.75 per hour. A night rate of £14.75 per hour applies between 23:00 and 06:00.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail, hospitality or gambling environment.
• Experienced delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

• Industry and compliance training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping is maintained to a high standard, cleaning gaming equipment, floors and walls.
• Offer service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour for suspicions or disruptions.
• Assist with administration to 100% accuracy.
• Help promotions run smoothly and be a success.
• Maintain customer service in line with company standards and drive customer satisfaction.
• Own and resolve problems, escalate as needed per complaints policy.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policy.
• Maintain brand-appropriate personal presentation while on duty.
• Gain product knowledge to support customer journey and enjoyment.
• Understand safeguarding policies and challenge 25.
• Actively discourage harassment or discrimination.
