Job summary

Springcare Canal View in Ilkeston is seeking a Night Team Leader to support residents and oversee a night-time team. You will lead care assistants, administer medications where required, and maintain meticulous records to ensure safe, dignified care through the 8pm–8am shift.

We look for a Level 3 in Health & Social Care with proven leadership in care. The role requires UK right to work, references, and sight of DBS. A supportive employer offers CPD, training, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience administering medication.
• Proven leadership experience in a care setting.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a night shift care team to safeguard residents.
• Support residents with personal care and daily activities.
• Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with nurses, doctors and external professionals as needed.
• Ensure safety, dignity and respect for residents at all times.
