Job summary

Swansea Council is recruiting for a Peripatetic Night Support Worker in Temporary Accommodation. This permanent role (37 hours per week) offers a salary of £29,071–£32,046 per year plus shift enhancements, commencing in February.

Located within Swansea Council's Housing Service, you will work nights, provide guidance to residents and support their move to settled accommodation. Experience in social housing and supported accommodation is valued.

Qualifications

• Dynamic, self-motivated and organised individual committed to making a difference.
• Strong communicator and problem solver capable of handling difficult situations.
• Proven experience in the social housing sector.
• Experience in supported accommodation or housing support services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support to residents as part of a homelessness pathway to settled accommodation.
• Address housing and personal issues, build confidence and sustain future accommodation.
• Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and responsiveness.
• Contribute to development of Temporary Supported Accommodation schemes and homelessness services.
