Job summary

Priority Childcare, part of Orbis Education & Care, is recruiting a Support Worker to join the Graig Y Bedw team in Pontardulais, Swansea. We offer full-time hours (39 per week) with a rolling two-week rota, including waking and sleep-in nights.

Salary ranges from £13.45 to £13.75 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Graig Y Bedw supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and autism in a warm home setting.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; the right values and attitude are essential.
• Hold a full UK driving licence (essential).
• Willing to learn; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.
• Build trusting relationships so individuals feel safe and valued.
• Encourage independence and daily living skills.
• Support activities at home and in the community.
• Deliver personalised support plans with colleagues.
• Keep accurate records of progress, activities, and incidents.
• Assist with everyday household tasks including cooking and cleaning.
