Job summary

Dane House in Brighton, part of Elysium Healthcare, is hiring a Support Worker to assist people with mental health conditions. You’ll join an inclusive team, delivering compassionate care, recording observations, and supporting residents on their recovery pathways.

The role is a permanent, 30-hour week night position (9:30 pm–7:30 am) with a comprehensive range of training and development opportunities. You’ll be part of a network-focused provider with strong values.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in caring for people with mental health conditions.
• Willingness to work night shifts (9:30 pm–7:30 am) and adapt to a challenging environment.
• Positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ward rounds and monitor behaviours in collaboration with colleagues.
• Update patient records and provide overall care and support, including personal hygiene.
• Assist with activities of daily living and contribute to recovery pathways.
