Job summary

Priory is seeking a Support Worker for night shifts at Mount View House near Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The role is full-time (38 hours per week) with 10pm–7:30am shifts and rotational weekends.

The setting provides care for autistic adults in a rural environment, with training and development opportunities available. You will join a compassionate team delivering personalised care using established therapies, supporting residents with daily living tasks, activities, and wellbeing while

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is desirable, but full training is provided.
• Ability to work nights and maintain compassionate, person-centred support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks.
• Encourage participation in activities and community life.
• Support service users in achieving personal outcomes and goals.
• Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts and daily notes.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Uphold safety, security and confidentiality.
• Act as a key worker for individuals, helping track progress.
• Promote choice, independence and involvement at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas.
