Job summary

Priory in New Romney is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a 36-hour week, night shift 10pm-7am at Cotswold Lodge, Kent. You will help adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to maintain wellbeing and independence within a compassionate team.

You will support personal care and daily living tasks, update care plans, and work closely with residents, families and colleagues to promote safety and dignity. The role offers training and development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent or higher qualification.
• GCSE or NVQ2 in English and Maths.
• Commitment to completing required qualifications within six months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents' personal needs are met and support daily living tasks.
• Complete daily administration including care plans and notes.
• Maintain professional relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Adhere to policies to maintain safety, confidentiality and standards.
