Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Night Support Worker in Edlington for 35 hours per week on night shifts from 8pm to 8am. The role pays £13.46 per hour and involves supporting individuals to gain independence, with duties including personal care, life-skills coaching, and helping people access local communities.

Ideal applicants will have a full UK driving licence (preferred), be resilient and flexible, and have experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and challenging behaviours.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence preferred.
Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
Experience with individuals requiring enhanced support, including distress and challenging behaviours, mental health conditions, autism, brain injury, forensic histories and trauma.

Responsibilities

Help people gain more independence in daily life and learn new life skills.
Assist with personal care and encourage community access, socialising, and activities.
Support individuals to meet goals and maintain their wellbeing.
Be actively involved in daily routines and activities, including outings and leisure.
