Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Night Support Worker in Brentwood, Essex. This role involves overnight assistance, personal care support, welfare checks, and promoting independence within a friendly residential setting.

Shifts run from 10:00pm to 8:00am, with weekends and bank holidays on a rota. The package includes enhanced pay, overtime, Wagestream access, and other staff benefits. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Resilient, flexible and calm approach.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Confident in reflective practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and reassurance throughout the night.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Complete regular welfare and safety checks.
• Support individuals who may wake during the night.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers.
• Promote independence while ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Pay rate £13.17ph

Typical shifts: 10:00pm to 8:00am, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
