Cygnet Health Care in Bishop Auckland, at Thornfield Grange, is seeking a confident Night Support Worker to provide high‑quality care to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
You’ll work 42 hours a week on night shifts, including every other weekend and bank holidays. A driving licence (full UK, 2+ years) is required and an enhanced DBS check will be completed. On‑site meals are provided and you’ll join a supportive team.

You'll be working 42 hours a week, (nights only) in Thornfield Grange with Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism along with behaviours that challenge. Working mainly night shifts, with the expectation to cover day shift when required , inhouse meals are provided and paid handovers. This role involves working every other weekend, and bank holidays (including Christmas). Please note: A driving license is required for this role. For Insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years of age or over and have held a full UK driving license for at least 2 years. Thornfield Grange is a specialist residential service with nursing for adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. Based in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Thornfield Grange supports individuals who have behaviours that may challenge, as well as those who have significant difficulties with social engagement. The role involves supporting adults with all aspects of daily life, including on occasion personal care.
