Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for The Beeches in the United Kingdom. You will work full time, averaging 43 hours per week, on night shifts (7:30pm–8:00am) in a residential setting caring for residents with learning disabilities and autism.

The role offers a supportive team, opportunities for training through our apprenticeship scheme, and flexible working with potential overtime in a warm, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care and support for residents with learning disabilities and autism.
• Offer physical and emotional support and monitor wellbeing.
• Support individuals’ independence with a flexible, person-centred approach.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
• Acknowledge unpaid carers and support their involvement as appropriate.

We are looking for a confident, compassionate and dedicated Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at The Beeches.

You’ll be working full time, an average of 43 hours per week, night shifts only, in our residential care home with residents living with learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour.

Shift pattern: 4 nights on, 4 nights off
Hours: 7:30pm – 8:00am

Your Day-to-Day…

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
