Job summary

The Beeches, operated by Cygnet Group in Retford, is hiring a Night Support Worker. You will work full-time night shifts (7:30pm–8:00am), averaging 43 hours per week, 4 nights on/4 nights off, in a residential home for residents with learning disabilities and autism.

We offer an apprenticeship pathway, overtime opportunities, coaching and peer support, and wellbeing resources. DBS checks are required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide nightly care and support to residents in a learning disability and autism residential setting.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment.
• Support residents through individual care plans and activities.
• Uphold safeguarding and confidentiality.

We are looking for a confident, compassionate and dedicated Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at The Beeches.

You’ll be working full time, an average of 43 hours per week, night shifts only, in our residential care home with residents living with learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour.

Shift pattern: 4 nights on, 4 nights off

Hours: 7:30pm - 8:00am

Day-to-Day

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
