Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team at the Silverstone Facility is seeking a Stores Operator for a night shift position.

You will manage inventory, process stock movements, dispatch materials, and drive a van to internal and external destinations, supporting the team’s rapid race-day readiness. The role requires a full UK driving licence, warehouse experience, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• A full, clean UK driving license is required for this role.
• Must be comfortable driving a van.
• Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Basic computer skills, including experience with ERP systems.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations associated with warehouse operations.
• Flexible and proactive attitude towards work.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components.
• Process stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist in the preparation and dispatch of materials as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a tidy and organized storage area.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to fulfil material requests.
• Participate in regular stock audits and reconciliations.
• Utilize ERP systems for tracking inventory and orders.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to management promptly.
• Delivery and collection of parts by vehicle to internal and external destinations.
