Asda Stores Ltd in Totton (Southampton) is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team, ensure availability and top shop-floor standards, and maintain a safe, legal store through the night. The role involves a rolling rota with 4 nights over 7, overseeing all store operations during 24-hour opening.

You will need retail leadership experience, decision-making, and a strong customer-focus with flexibility for weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Manage and lead the night team to keep everything running whilst the rest of the world sleeps, delivering best availability and shop floor standards.
• Oversee operation as a whole during the night when the store is open 24 hours.
• Lead and ensure safety and legal compliance for customers and colleagues.
• Roll a night shift rota (4 nights over 7) including weekend work and handover to day team.
