Job summary

Asda is seeking a Night Manager in Eastleigh to lead the night team and ensure outstanding shopfloor standards while the store operates through the night. You will drive availability, safety, and compliance, maintaining daily operations with a focus on execution and customer service.

The role requires managing a rolling rota of 4 nights over 7, including weekends, and taking sole responsibility for the store during night hours.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the night team to ensure store standards, availability and safety while the store is open 24 hours.
• Oversee operations and handover to the day team with promotions and store presentation.
• Drive trading activity on the night shift, manage stock, waste and returns.
