Job summary

Asda Isle of Dogs is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team and keep the store running while the world sleeps. You’ll ensure top-class availability, maintain shop floor standards across departments, and guarantee safety and legal compliance for customers and colleagues.

You’ll work a rolling rota, four nights a week over seven including weekends, and oversee operations through the night with the day team handing over.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Night Manager leads and motivates the night team to keep the store running while others sleep.
• Maintain top availability and high shop floor standards across all departments.
• Ensure the store is safe and legally compliant for customers and colleagues.
• Operate with a rolling rota and manage four nights over seven, including weekend work.
• Oversee store operations overnight and ensure a smooth handover to the day team.
