Job summary

Asda Cannock is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team and keep the store running while the world sleeps, ensuring top availability and shop floor standards across all departments, while maintaining safety and legality for customers and colleagues.

As part of the leadership team, you’ll work a rolling rota with 4 nights over 7 including weekends, and you’ll be responsible for the store through the night, overseeing operations end-to-end until handover to the day team.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute night trading activity to maintain stock availability and minimize waste.
• Lead and coach night colleagues to uphold shopfloor standards and customer service.
• Ensure the store is ready for handover to day shift with promotions and key areas prepared.
• Develop and support the night team to foster ownership and improvement.
