Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Coventry is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team and keep the store running while the world sleeps. You will ensure high availability, top shop-floor standards and compliance with safety and legal requirements throughout the night shift.

You will work a rolling rota, four nights out of seven including weekends, totaling 45 hours per week, and you will be responsible for the store through the night, ensuring smooth handovers to the day team.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the night team to keep everything running while the rest of the world sleeps.
• Deliver the best store availability and highest shop floor standards across all departments while ensuring the store remains safe and legal for customers and colleagues.
• Work a rolling rota with 4 nights over 7 including weekends.
• Oversee operation as a whole during night hours when the store is open 24 hours.
