Job summary

Asda Oldbury is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team in keeping shelves stocked, standards high and the store compliant after hours. You will steer operations through the night, ensuring safe, efficient and friendly service as the store serves customers around the clock.

You’ll work a rolling rota of 4 nights over 7, including weekends, and be responsible for overall night-store performance. Previous supermarket leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the night team to keep stock available and standards high while the store operates overnight.
• Oversee operations during the night shift and manage the rolling rota (4 nights over 7).
• Ensure the store remains safe and legal for customers and colleagues during night hours.
• Drive trading activity on the shopfloor during night shift, coordinating replenishment and promotions.
