Job summary

Asda Stores is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team and keep the store running smoothly while the world sleeps. You will focus on availability, cleanliness, safety and high standards across departments.

You will manage a 45-hour week on night shifts, including weekends, and oversee operations through the night with a view to a seamless handover to the day team. This role is permanent and full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude and a drive to improve processes and people.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead night team to maintain availability and shopfloor standards across all departments.
• Oversee operations during night shift and hand over to day team.
• Ensure store remains safe and compliant with policy and legal requirements.
• Drive promotions, replenishment, waste management and returns as needed.
