Job summary

Look Ahead is seeking a Night Specialist Behavioural Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Social Care Service in Hertfordshire. The role involves overnight shifts 21:30-07:30 on a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with a salary of £29,672 per annum for 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Essential: NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with some sector work experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creates a positive atmosphere.
• Carries out holistic assessments of new customers using statutory referral information.
• Conducts regular key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals.
• Creates support plans based on ongoing assessment and available services to aid recovery.
• Manages risks with a positive risk-taking mindset.
• Supports customers to self-manage medications through re-enablement programmes.
