Dakota Hotels in Manchester Airport are seeking a creative Night Junior Sous Chef to lead the kitchen during night service. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure high standards across all menus including room service, breakfast, and bar snacks.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of professional cooking experience in a high-calibre restaurant and a minimum of 3 years in a junior sous or higher role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years professional cooking in a high-calibre restaurant.
• Minimum 3 years in a Junior Sous or higher role.
• Willing to work night shifts and lead a team.
• Trained in food hygiene level 2 or above, HACCP and allergens.
• Demonstrates passion for quality food and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night-time kitchen operations.
• Support breakfast prep and service.
• Cook according to Head Chef's specifications for all menus.
• Lead kitchen and front-of-house communication.
• Train junior chefs and apprentices.
• Maintain health, safety, HACCP and audit readiness.
• Pursue continual skill improvement.
