Dakota Manchester Airport is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen Team on a permanent basis. You will manage at least two sections, cook to specifications for all menus, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The role offers a 37.5-hour week, usually four or five days, with shifts finishing around 23:30 and occasional later hours. A strong team ethic and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef.
• Experience and ability to carry out food preparation of fish and meats.
• Passion for quality food and preparation.
• Hardworking and a team-player.
• Preferred: Food Safety qualifications; training in Health & Safety, Allergens and Food Hygiene will be provided.
• Enthusiastic individual who promotes a positive culture.
• Task oriented with pride and attention to detail.
• Flexible with shift patterns and available to meet business needs.
• Candidates should have researched the brand and want to be part of the team.

Responsabilités

• Run at least two different sections within the kitchen during service.
• Prepare and cook dishes according to Head Chef specifications for all menus.
• Carry out prep work across kitchen sections and maintain knife skills.
• Multi-task and work through busy service times.
• Full clean down of the kitchen and maintain an immaculate workspace.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.
• Support across different areas of the Kitchen as needed.
