Care in Mind seeks a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker for a 22-hour per week role in Liversedge, West Yorkshire. Salary £28,808.78 - £29,709.68 per annum, pro rata for part-time hours. Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK and not require visa sponsorship.

The role involves night shifts, weekend and bank holiday work, and training during weekdays. You will support young people with mental health needs through a therapeutic approach, record information accurately,

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Willingness to attend training throughout employment (weekdays).
• Ability to write basic reports and record information accurately.
• Ability to use a computer, complete forms, use online care system and write emails.

Responsibilities

• Support the wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills of the young people.
• Assist with incident management and de-escalation of challenging behaviours.
• Update online care records and provide effective handovers to day staff.
• Assist with medication administration and general upkeep of the home.
