Care in Mind is seeking a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker (Part Time) in Liversedge, West Yorkshire. The role involves night shifts, weekend work and supporting young people with mental health needs in a 5-bed home.

Applicants need unrestricted right to work in the UK and will gain training, supervision and ongoing development opportunities. The salary ranges from £28,808.78 to £29,709.68 per year, pro rata for part-time hours, reflecting experience and working patterns.

Formación

• Must have flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays
• Willingness to attend training on weekdays during employment
• Good written skills to write basic reports and record information accurately
• Basic IT skills and use of an online care system and email
• Good verbal communication and listening abilities
• Maintain professional working boundaries at all times
• Able to stay calm in emergencies and support others during difficult situations

Responsabilidades

• Update online care records and complete medication administration
• Provide handovers to day staff and maintain clear communication
• Support wellbeing, education and household tasks for young people
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, tidy home environment
• Support transition planning as residents move to independence
• Respond to incidents and assist with de-escalation when needed
