Job summary

The Menu Partners in Bicester is seeking a reliable Night Shift Yard Shunter (C2 Vehicles) to join our operations team. Working through the night, you will move trailers and vehicles within the yard to support loading, unloading and dispatch, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

This fast-paced role requires good knowledge of yard operations, a valid C2 licence, and the ability to work nights on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid C2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Experience as Yard Shunter/HGV driver or similar.
• Knowledge of safe vehicle manoeuvring and yard operations.
• Ability to work night shifts on rotating schedule.
• Strong health and safety awareness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Park vehicles onto bays with Goods In assistance.
• Ensure correct temperature settings during loading/unloading.
• Report vehicle damage to the transport office.
• Ensure returning vehicles are fully fuelled.
• Perform visual checks on all vehicles.
• May collect stock from another depot in Bicester.
