Job summary

Culina is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader at our Tilbury depot. The role is full-time with a 4 on 4 off night shift from 06:00 to 18:00, reporting to the Shift Manager.

You will motivate crews, manage goods inwards and loading bays, and drive KPI performance while upholding safety standards. Candidates should have previous warehouse team experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team in FMCG or similar environments.
• Strong health & safety knowledge and compliance with policies.
• Proven ability to monitor KPI performance and drive improvements.
• Proficient in MS Office suite; good planning and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the shift team to meet or exceed KPI targets.
• Oversee goods inwards and loading bays to ensure fast, safe receipts.
• Develop and train team members; support succession planning.
• Conduct disciplinary/grievance interviews per company procedures.
• Assist Shift Manager with ad hoc duties within Warehouse.
• Oversee cross docking process and ensure warehouse cleanliness.
• Lead daily shift briefs and communicate essential information to teams.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Welfare policies.
• Monitor work environment and adjust resources to maximize efficiency.
• Align shift performance with workload and KPI requirements.
• Utilise available resources to their full potential.
